SCOPE OF AGENCY AND HUSBANDRY SERVICES

The activities here are principally concerned with the logistics involved in a vessel’s arrival and departure from Port Georgetown or any other location in Guyana. These activities include:

· Customs clearance of vessels on arrival to and departure from GNIC’S wharf or any other location.

· Receipt, Processing and Delivery of all relevant Shipping documents.

· Arranging for the provision of a number of specialized and other services based on customers request. For example:

a) Medical

b) Legal

c) Transportation

Terminal Operations: The terminal Operations include the Berthing of vessels, loading /offloading of cargo, storage and delivery/receipt of cargo; also included in the transportation logistics for the cargo movements, from ship, to and from storage areas.

A Marine Equipment Rental Service: The Company can also, on request, provide barges and tugs for rental.

River Pilotage: We provide a twenty-four (24) hour a day Pilotage Service for Ships plying the Demerara River south of the Georgetown Harbor as far as Linden. Our complement of three (3) Licensed and experienced Pilots have been subjected to rigorous and continuous training and are equipped to handle safely, vessels up to 5000 tons. Our rates are the most competitive while a number of Oil Tankers servicing the Main Bulk Oil Terminals in the Demerara River, The Bauxite Industry Development Company (BIDCO) and other local Shipping Agents are among our major customers
